On April 11, 2015, the MS Walk, which supports the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, will be held in Burlington. The funds raised through MS events support cutting edge research, programs and services for everyone impacted by MS.

Reminder that a number of classrooms will be holding parent/teacher conferences on Monday, 3.23.15 and there will be no school for students on that day. We will see all students again on Tuesday, 3.24.15.
We wanted to share a letter from Vermont’s Secretary of Education, Rebecca Holcombe, about Vermont’s participation in SBAC testing this spring. The SBAC (Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium) test has replaced the NECAP as a statewide student assessment. The St. Albans Town School District held their annual Board Reorganization meeting on Wednesday, March 11th. At that meeting Paul Bourbeau was elected Board Chair, Martha Casavant-Ries was elected Vice Chair and Nina Hunsicker was elected Board Clerk. Ted Scheu the Poetry Guy is coming to our school on March 25 and March 26. He will be doing an assembly for students in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 on Wednesday morning in the gym.
